Eddie Hawkins, 28, graduated from Daniel Webster College in
Nashua, NH where he played goaltender for the Eagles for 3 seasons.
Eddie appeared in over 50 games during his 3 years at
Daniel Webster College, winning the Coaches Award and Defensive
Standout Award in his Junior & Senior seasons. Prior to his
college career, Eddie played junior hockey in Massachusetts helping
lead the Quincy Rangers to a regular season IJHL title in
2001. Following college, Eddie moved to Philadelphia to accept a
job with the Philadelphia Flyers. He worked in various roles
within the Marketing Department before leaving in the Summer
of 2008 to join Canlan Ice Sports. Eddie enters his third season
with the South Jersey Bruins and also serves as the organization’s
President and General Manager of Canlan Ice Sports Vineland.
Eddie will be head coach of the 2011-12 Squirts and Co-Head
Coach of the 2011-12 U18 team.
Eddie Stockbridge, 36, grew up in Clinton, NY and began playing
hockey at the age of 5. He was a member of several championship
teams at Clinton Central High School during his career.
Eddie was recruited by several colleges for both football and
hockey, but entered the United States Marine Corps, where he
played hockey during his entire service career. Following the
Marine Corps, Eddie attended Towson University in Maryland
where he played D1 ACHA Hockey for three years and was
named Captain for his final two years. Eddie has several years of
youth coaching experience with the Northern Virginia Hockey
Association, Gonzaga High School Prep, and the former Vineland
Patriots. Eddie took over as the Head Coach of the South
Jersey Bruins U18 team halfway through the 2010-11 season and
helped improve the team’s basic systems and fundamentals during
his time with the Bruins. Eddie will run weekly 40 minute
power skating and skills sessions for all Bruins teams and will be
the Head Coach of the 2011-12 Bantams and Co-Head Coach of
the 2011-12 U18 team.

The 2011-12 season is the third season for the South
Jersey Bruins and will be their first full season in
the NJYHL. All South Jersey Bruins teams will be
full members of the NJYHL beginning in 2011-12.

season for our U18 team.

Apparel cost will be paid separately and directly to
the Pro Shop at Canlan Ice Sports Vineland. All

weeks after tryouts to ensure on-time delivery prior
to the 2011-12 season.
In addition, the Pro Shop at Canlan Ice Sports
Vineland will offers several optional apparel items
including South Jersey Bruins hoodies, sweat suits,
