low-value resources, biomass, peat or lignite coal, into above ground oil well<br />
‣ Hydrofaction oil is over 50% in the jet and diesel fuel range (boiling point)<br />
‣ Hydrofaction oil is highly competitive with other non-conventional<br />
petroleum crude oils such as Alberta oil sands in both costs and scale<br />
‣ In early 2011 <strong>Steeper</strong> was awarded EUDP Grant from the Danish department<br />
of energy contributing to advancement, testing as well as design and<br />
engineering scale up of Hydrofaction<br />

purchased <strong>Steeper</strong>’s 1 barrel per day Hydrofaction and <strong>Steeper</strong> has entered<br />
an active collaboration agreement with Aalborg for the next 5 years<br />
