BoyS on rIgHt traCk
They were four blue collar boys from
the wrong side of the tracks who
went on to become one of the biggest
American pop sensations of all time, selling
175 million records while still in their 20s.
The distinct sound of Frankie Valli & The
Four Seasons hit the emotional nerve of
their generation. Original Four Seasons
member Bab Gaudio says the group were at
one with their fans. “Our people were the
factory workers, truck drivers and the pretty
girls with circles under their eyes behind the
counter at the diner.”
This multiple Tony Award-winning
musical is packed with 20 Frankie Valli & The
Four Seasons songs including all their big hits,
Big Girls Don’t Cry, Sherry, Rag Doll, Oh What
a Night and Can’t Take My Eyes Off You. The
group was forged from a simple handshake
agreement back in the 1960s and Jersey Boys
pays tribute to the power of loyalty between
friends. It has already mesmerised more than
14 million fans worldwide and an extra 30,000
tickets have been added to the Brisbane
season even before the show has opened.
