Habitat:<br />
Thrives in open habitats such as forests, field edges,<br />
river terraces, and disturbed areas. River terraces<br />
are especially prone to invasion by this tree species.<br />
Ecological Impact:<br />
Exhibits aggressive growth and quickly invades<br />
disturbed lands displacing native plants. It has a<br />
shallow root system that make the trees susceptible<br />
to blow over during high winds.<br />

Removal:<br />
Remove small plants by hand. Use a Weed<br />
