The NO 2 diffusion tube data are summarised in Table 2.2. The full dataset (monthly mean
values) are included in Appendix A.
Data capture for 2012 was good, with no annualisation required.
For the 2012 data set there were two sites where the annual mean AQS objective was
exceeded, both of these sites are located within the existing AQMA boundary and have
shown exceedences in previous years.
The Flashmans / Talbot Road site has been put through the distance correction tool to
estimate the annual mean concentration at the nearest receptor location. This shows that the
annual mean objective is predicted to be exceeded at the façade of the receptor location.
The full details of this can be seen in Table 2.6.
The Talbot Road Bus Station site showed an exceedence of the annual mean objective,
however there is no relevant exposure at this location.
There are no sites where the annual mean is greater than 60µg/m 3 , therefore there are no
sites likely to be at risk of exceeding the hourly AQS Objective.
