In response to the queries raised during the first pre-bid conference on February 5, 2007, the
following amendments in the bid documents are hereby issued for the guidance of all
concerned:

Specifications shall be in accordance with the National Building Code
requirement
<strong>Bid</strong>der shall not provide any bid in this pay item. The amount of
P10,000.00 has been provided for this item since COA shall take care of
securing the building permit. This amount shall not be billed by the
contractor.
Site identification on the dumpsite to be used in the hauling of debris and
demolished materials shall be the responsibility of the contractor/bidder.
Gravel beddings shall be applied on all footings, slab on fill and footing
tie beam
Brand to be used shall be at the minimum "Lentrex" or approved
equivalent. Warranty shall be 5 years.
Thickness of Steel Deck is 0.8mm (as per approved plan) instead of .08m
as reflected in the BOQ.
Quantity of 829.08 sq m is to be changed to two (2) separate pay items
under this ITEM NO. VI, viz:
6.01 4"CHB 472.sq.m.
6.01 6"CHB 337.sq.m.
ITEM NO. 7.02 Roofing
and Roofdeck and Fire Exit
This item includes polycarbonate roofing, fire exit ladder and structural
steel. Reference drawings are in A-4/7 and A-6/7. Thickness of
polycarbonate shall be 6mm twinwall.

Quantities (BOQ) specifications shall prevail.

<strong>Bid</strong> for this particular pay item shall already include the provision of
12mm sq bar auxiliary rails.
Land development is not part of this contract
A second pre-bid conference shall be held on February 12, 2007,
1:30pm at the 3 rd Floor, COA Training Center.
<strong>Bid</strong> opening date shall be on February 26, 2007 at 9:00am, 3 rd Floor,
COA Training Center instead of the original date of February 19, 2007.
Payment to contractor’s billings shall be in accordance with Section 32
of the General Conditions of the Contract included in the <strong>Bid</strong>ding
Documents.
It is understood that pertinent and appropriate provisions of the <strong>Bid</strong>ding Documents such as
the Instructions to <strong>Bid</strong>ders, <strong>Bid</strong> Data Sheet, Bill of Quantities, General Conditions of the
Contract, Drawings and Technical Specifications are accordingly amended, clarified and
reiterated accordingly.
