It’s a Great Day (Mrs. Besser’s class)
Wake up in the mornin' and I jump out of bed.
Time to stretch my body from my toes to my head.
It's a great day! And I'm feelin' good.
Now I'll exercise like I know I should.
Stretchin' and a-­‐yawnin' as I open my eyes.
Got to get in gear for doin' my exercise.

(speak) Gotta stand up tall and stretch my arms out wide. Gonna twist my body from side
to side.
Right side, left side, one more time. Stretch and stretch, it's feelin' fine.
Right side, left side, that's the gist. Feels so good to stretch and twist.
Now I'm gonna touch my toes. Knees real straight, that's how it goes.
Up and down and up and down. Bendin' to the rockin' sound.
Now I'll straighten up my back. Time to do some jumpin' jacks.
One, two, three, four, try some more. Five, six, seven, eight, doin' great.
Time to start my joggin' pace. Gonna jog right here in place.
Heart is pumpin', yes, sirree. Joggin' sure is good for me.
Exercisin' sure is fun, but you have to cool down when you are done.

(sing) Sure am lookin' forward now to startin' the day. Lots of things to do, it's time to get
on my way.

I’m a Helper (Mrs. Essen’s class)
I’m a helper, I help at home and school. Yes, ev’ry day I have jobs to do.
First, watch me dash to take out the trash.
I’m doin’ what I know I should, ‘cause helpin’ makes me feel so good.
Yes, I’m a helper, I help at home and school. I’ll gladly do anything you ask.
I’ll help on the bus and I’ll earn a plus, ‘cause I’m the one who’s up to any task.
Just give me a chance to water the plants. I’ll clean the fish tank, too.
Then with a zoom, I’ll clean the room. I’ll do anything you ask me to.
I’m a helper, I help at home and school. My services are always in demand.
Big job or small, anything at all, because your wish is my command.

Good Manners (Mrs. Wilk’s class)
Manners, good manners.
If somebody does you a favor, there’s something that you ought to say,
“Thank you very much.” It’s the magic touch, and really can make someone’s day.
If you need to get someone’s attention, a few words that you’ll want to say:
“Excuse me, please, excuse me,” will get their attention in a really nice way.
Good manners. We all need to know them. We all need to show them, it’s true.

Your milk spills all over the table. It’s dripping down onto the floor.
“I’m sorry.” Say, “I’m sorry,” and next time you’ll be more careful for sure.
