JASON BALLANTINE (Edi<strong>to</strong>r) was the winner of the Film Critics Circle of Australia<br />

(FCCA) Award for his work on “Wish You Were Here,” <strong>and</strong> also garnered nominations<br />

from the Australian Film Institute (AFI) for their AACTA Award, <strong>and</strong> the Australian<br />

Screen Edi<strong>to</strong>rs Guild (ASE). He was previously nominated for the AFI Award for his<br />

work on “Wolf Creek,” a film which also earned him an FCCA nod; <strong>and</strong> for the ASE<br />

Award for the films “Rogue” <strong>and</strong> “Caterpillar Wish.”<br />

Ballantine is currently cutting the much-anticipated “Mad Max: Fury Road,”<br />

the fourth in the series, for direc<strong>to</strong>r George Miller. The high-octane action adventure<br />

stars Tom Hardy in the title role, alongside Charlize Theron <strong>and</strong> Nicholas Hoult.<br />

As first assistant edi<strong>to</strong>r <strong>and</strong> visual effects edi<strong>to</strong>r, Ballantine has worked<br />

alongside many noteworthy direc<strong>to</strong>rs <strong>and</strong> edi<strong>to</strong>rs in a career spanning more than 20<br />

years. His films include Miller’s “Babe,” “Babe: Pig in the City” <strong>and</strong> “Happy Feet”; Baz<br />

Luhrmann’s “Moulin Rouge!” <strong>and</strong> “Australia”; John Woo’s “Mission: Impossible II”;<br />

“Dark City”; “Hearts in Atlantis”; “The Quiet American”; <strong>and</strong> George Lucas’s “Star<br />

Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones” <strong>and</strong> “Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.”<br />

JONATHAN REDMOND (Edi<strong>to</strong>r) has worked in film <strong>and</strong> television postproduction<br />

for 18 years. During that time, he has been involved with Bazmark on all<br />

film-based projects, starting with Baz Luhrmann’s “Moulin Rouge!” <strong>and</strong> also including<br />

“Australia,” the direc<strong>to</strong>r’s “Chanel Nº5: The Film” global campaign, starring Nicole<br />

Kidman, <strong>and</strong> the re-release of Luhrmann’s “Red Curtain Trilogy.” His various editing<br />

roles have spanned edi<strong>to</strong>r, Blu-ray edition edi<strong>to</strong>r, pitch / development edi<strong>to</strong>r <strong>and</strong> 1 st<br />

assistant edi<strong>to</strong>r.<br />

Redmond has also edited various documentaries, music videos <strong>and</strong> video<br />

installations.<br />

ANTON MONSTED (Executive Music Supervisor / Co-producer) has worked on<br />

three previous Baz Luhrmann films: “William Shakespeare’s Romeo + Juliet,” “Moulin<br />

Rouge!” <strong>and</strong> “Australia.” Following the success of “William Shakespeare’s Romeo +<br />

Juliet,” Monsted went on <strong>to</strong> head up Luhrmann’s music company, Bazmark Music,<br />

<strong>and</strong> in 1997 collaborated with Luhrmann on the enormously successful “Something<br />

for Everybody” album, which included the hit song “Everybody’s Free <strong>to</strong> Wear<br />

Sunscreen.”<br />
