Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!<br />
Bulletin Board<br />
Susan Craig, Jeanette Sites and Chip Thullbery will serve<br />
as delegates to <strong>the</strong> 44th diocesan convention, which will be<br />
held this year on <strong>January</strong> 26th at All Saints’ Episcopal<br />
<strong>Church</strong> in Winter Park.<br />
Our heartfelt thanks go out to all <strong>of</strong> our volunteers who<br />
made our Christmas banquet so memorable: Chip<br />
Thullbery, John Motis and Steve Carter and <strong>the</strong>ir teams<br />
for <strong>the</strong> Christmas banquet; Theresa Ryland and <strong>the</strong> hand<br />
bell choir for <strong>the</strong>ir concert; Kay and Roger Ingley for <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
wassail refreshments; Melody McKenna, Robert Wilson<br />
and many o<strong>the</strong>r parents and volunteers for <strong>the</strong> Christmas<br />
pageant, and Lynda & Sandy Norton and Doris Gukich<br />
for decorating <strong>the</strong> church and parish hall for Christmas.<br />
What a generous gift to our parish!<br />
Whitney Sutton graduated from an LPN program on<br />
December 20th. She plans to continue her studies until she<br />
becomes a registered nurse. Congratulations!<br />
Thanks to your generous donations at <strong>the</strong> annual Christmas<br />
Pageant, our parish was able to purchase a guitar and<br />
keyboard for our mission in Santa Maria, Honduras.<br />
Katie Petersen will <strong>of</strong>fer a class in <strong>the</strong> Campbell Building<br />
for older nursery children during <strong>the</strong> ten-thirty service on<br />
Sundays, beginning <strong>January</strong> 6th.<br />
Nash Graysen Williams, son <strong>of</strong> Chad and Ambrey Williams,<br />
grandson <strong>of</strong> Robert and Doris Gukich and great-grandson <strong>of</strong><br />
Katy Gukich, was baptized on December 16th, joined by<br />
godparents Craig & Wendy Merson and Nathan & Autumn<br />
Coomes, along with o<strong>the</strong>r members <strong>of</strong> his extended family.<br />

Annual Congregational Meeting Scheduled <strong>January</strong> 27th<br />
Members <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> parish are invited to breakfast and <strong>the</strong><br />
annual congregational meeting in <strong>the</strong> parish hall on Sunday,<br />
<strong>January</strong> 27th, beginning at 9:00 AM. Parish leaders will<br />
review <strong>the</strong>ir programs and activities and parishioners will<br />
elect four new members to <strong>the</strong> vestry. New members will be<br />
recognized and receive our latest cookbook and pictorial<br />
directory, if <strong>the</strong>y do not already have <strong>the</strong>m. All baptized<br />
members in good standing, sixteen years <strong>of</strong> age or older, are<br />
eligible to vote.<br />
The retiring members <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Vestry, comprised <strong>of</strong> Chip<br />
Thullbery, Alan Corwith, Linda Wright and Barrett Nelson,<br />
serve as <strong>the</strong> nominating committee for <strong>the</strong> election <strong>of</strong> four<br />
new members to <strong>the</strong> Vestry. They will nominate Maury<br />
McCarthy, a past senior warden <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> parish; Tommy<br />
Phillips, an usher, greeter and golf scramble organizer; Sam<br />
Petersen, young adult participant; and Paula Templeton,<br />
Thrift Shop volunteer and centering prayer leader. The floor<br />
will also be open for additional nominations.<br />
The new vestry will hold an organizational meeting on<br />
Monday, <strong>January</strong> 28th. The rector will announce his choice<br />
for senior warden and <strong>the</strong> vestry will elect a junior warden,<br />
secretary and treasurer. A half-day annual planning and goalsetting<br />
meeting will be held on February 16, <strong>2013</strong>.

Morgan McKenna and her college roommate discuss <strong>the</strong>ir plans for Christmas.<br />
