Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Bulletin Board
Susan Craig, Jeanette Sites and Chip Thullbery will serve
as delegates to the 44th diocesan convention, which will be
held this year on January 26th at All Saints’ Episcopal
Church in Winter Park.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to all of our volunteers who
made our Christmas banquet so memorable: Chip
Thullbery, John Motis and Steve Carter and their teams
for the Christmas banquet; Theresa Ryland and the hand
bell choir for their concert; Kay and Roger Ingley for their
wassail refreshments; Melody McKenna, Robert Wilson
and many other parents and volunteers for the Christmas
pageant, and Lynda & Sandy Norton and Doris Gukich
for decorating the church and parish hall for Christmas.
What a generous gift to our parish!
Whitney Sutton graduated from an LPN program on
December 20th. She plans to continue her studies until she
becomes a registered nurse. Congratulations!
Thanks to your generous donations at the annual Christmas
Pageant, our parish was able to purchase a guitar and
keyboard for our mission in Santa Maria, Honduras.
Katie Petersen will offer a class in the Campbell Building
for older nursery children during the ten-thirty service on
Sundays, beginning January 6th.
Nash Graysen Williams, son of Chad and Ambrey Williams,
grandson of Robert and Doris Gukich and great-grandson of
Katy Gukich, was baptized on December 16th, joined by
godparents Craig & Wendy Merson and Nathan & Autumn
Coomes, along with other members of his extended family.

Annual Congregational Meeting Scheduled January 27th
Members of the parish are invited to breakfast and the
annual congregational meeting in the parish hall on Sunday,
January 27th, beginning at 9:00 AM. Parish leaders will
review their programs and activities and parishioners will
elect four new members to the vestry. New members will be
recognized and receive our latest cookbook and pictorial
directory, if they do not already have them. All baptized
members in good standing, sixteen years of age or older, are
eligible to vote.
The retiring members of the Vestry, comprised of Chip
Thullbery, Alan Corwith, Linda Wright and Barrett Nelson,
serve as the nominating committee for the election of four
new members to the Vestry. They will nominate Maury
McCarthy, a past senior warden of the parish; Tommy
Phillips, an usher, greeter and golf scramble organizer; Sam
Petersen, young adult participant; and Paula Templeton,
Thrift Shop volunteer and centering prayer leader. The floor
will also be open for additional nominations.
The new vestry will hold an organizational meeting on
Monday, January 28th. The rector will announce his choice
for senior warden and the vestry will elect a junior warden,
secretary and treasurer. A half-day annual planning and goalsetting
meeting will be held on February 16, 2013.
