interfaces and system controllers. Systems integration is made quick and easy by pre-written modules for an extensive list 

of NaimNet Integration Partners providing easily-con gured interfaces to network-connected devices. NaimNet Integration

Audiophile Sound Quality 

Reading from Compact Disc to the internal hard drive is bit-perfect 

with multiple scans of the CD to ensure absolute data integrity. Replay 

from hard disc, whether as a stream into NaimNet or NetStreams 

SpeakerLinX room amplifiers or local playback on the server, is 

again fully bit-perfect. Audio handling within the server is designed by 

Naim to offer the highest fidelity and has an architecture which is fully 

bit-perfect and decodes digital formats up to unpacked fixed/float 

32bit 96kHz. Playback through NaimNet is exactly as the original 

CD. 

Secure Music Storage 

All data on the internal 400GB hard drive is automatically copied 

onto a second internal drive as a secure backup. In the event of a 

single HDD failure, service procedures allow for the recovery of the 

complete music library and playlists. 

Extended Music Database 

Easily select music by artist, composer, song, conductor, movement 

etc. Ideal for collections of popular, jazz, or classical music. Intuitive 

search functions on all interfaces make finding individual pieces 

simple. 

Network Scanning 

Music files stored on other computers, PC or MAC, on the network 

automatically populates the music selection database and can be 

played locally or remotely via NaimNet. 

Network Storage 

Unlimited additional music storage and backup is possible using 

network NAS storage. A simple installer set-up tool will be provided 

at a later date. 

iPod ® Dock 

Portable mp3 music players connected to the convenient front panel 

USB socket populate the selection database and can be played 

locally as a digital transfer with much higher fidelity than an analogue 

connection. Multiple streams can be output from a single player into 

NaimNet room amplifiers, which also control the portable player 

music selection. 

True Hi-Fi Local Audio Playback 

Local audio playback stages are optically isolated from the server 

architecture for lowest noise. All data is fully reclocked and dejittered 

in true Naim fashion. Linear power supplies with toroidal 

transformer. 

NaimNet User Interface 

Independent music selection and control of up to 6 streams is 

provided by the standard NaimNet interface. Quick and responsive, 

a host of advanced search functions are supported with display of 

album art. 

TV Interface 

Clear and responsive, the TV interface can be displayed within a 

home cinema, or on VGA touch screen and controlled by the supplied 

IR handset or by a mouse, keyboard, or touch screen. 

Web Interface 

A web based version of the TV interface is available simply by 

browsing to the IP address of the music server. 

Naim Music Manager Interface 

A very informative interface available on any networked PC. This 

uses a file manager type of presentation to display the database 

contents, as well as playable music on other machines or PCs on 

the same network. This interface can be used to modify or overwrite 

database album or track details and create playlists, and is available 

independently of whatever the music server is currently playing. This 

interface exposes the full detail of the music database at an album 

or track level.

The NaimNet NNP02-DC is a special DC power input version of the 

NNP02. 

DC input voltages from 12V/24-28V can be used ensuring satisfactory 

operation in marine and automotive applications. 

NNP02-DC can also be installed to meet stringent safety requirements 

in wet areas – for example amplifiers can be safely located in the 

pump room of a swimming pool complex, or bathrooms, and powered 

from a remote DC power supply. 

Some territories also require that inaccessible devices are not 

connected directly to the mains power supply without individual 

switched and fused spurs: NNP02-DC can be used in these situations 

with a remote mains connected supply. 

The operating voltage range includes 28V, ensuring direct compatibility 

with NetStreams PowerLinX DC power supplies. One channel of 

a NetStreams DigiLinX PL750 will power one NNP02-DC.

Four independent high performance DAB/FM tuners in a single housing with single Ethernet and Antenna 

connections for simple installation. A fully NaimNet NetStreams compatible source component with four 

independently controllable streaming outputs. 

The NaimNet NNT01 is a highly convenient combination of 4 totally 

independent DAB/FM tuners in a single compact cabinet. 

Primarily intended as a multiple streaming source, which can 

be played and controlled by an unlimited number of NaimNet or 

NetStreams SpeakerLinX room amplifiers, the NNT01 tuner also 

has 4 analogue outputs for additional distribution or local play. 

The NNT01 is a multiple streaming device within NaimNet, and 

requires only a single Ethernet connection. Further NNT01 tuners 

can be put onto a NaimNet system without limit. 

The NNT01 is fully compatible with DigiLinX from NetStreams 

giving not only multiple very high quality radio sources, but also a 

quality of user control and cost effectiveness not possible in any 

other way. 

A single antenna connection drives all four tuners, and there is a no 

loss ‘pass-through’ connection for further tuners or other receiving 

equipment. 

The NNT01 can be located wherever convenient: there is no 

requirement for either end-user or installer intervention once 

connections have been made, as all configuration is within NaimNet 

Dealer Setup, User GUI, or alternatively by RS232. 

Full control of each individual tuner is provided by the internal 

web server. Four users can access the tuners independently, and 

select stations. Any available Metadata or RDS in the case of FM is 

presented in the familiar NaimNet format on the control touch screen 

or other control device. 

Both installers and end-users are easily able to configure the tuner 

from any networked touch screen or PC, so reconfiguration to reflect 

changing requirements, or new radio stations becoming available 

does not require a service call. 

The NNT01 has been designed to be upgradeable and is modular 

in construction. Initially NNT01 will be available with 4 DAB/FM 

modules, but internet radio, and various region specific receivers are 

also planned.

Single high performance NaimNet NetStreams StreamNet compatible 

streaming DAB/FM tuner with rich user interface and user radio set-up. 

The NaimNet NNT02 is a single DAB/FM tuner in a compact 

enclosure. 

The NNT02 is purely a NaimNet DigiLinX-compatible streaming 

source with a single Ethernet connection. There is no analogue 

output on this tuner. Further NNT02 tuners can be put onto a NaimNet 

system without limit – although NNT01 will be seen to be a more 

economical choice where three or more tuners are specified. 

A single antenna connection is provided with a no loss ‘pass-through’ 

connection for further tuners or other receiving equipment. 

The NNT02 can be located wherever is convenient: there is no 

requirement for either end-user or installer intervention once 

connections have been made, as all configuration is within NaimNet 

Dealer Setup, User GUI, or alternatively by RS232. 

Full control of the tuner is provided by the internal web server. Any 

available Metadata or RDS in the case of FM is presented in the 

familiar NaimNet format on the control touch screen or other control 

device. 

Both installers and end-users are able to easily configure the tuner 

from any networked touch screen or PC, so reconfiguration to reflect 

changing requirements or new radio stations becoming available 

does not require a service call.
