In the aftermath of America’s recent tragedy, businesses<br />

are scrambling to improve their security,<br />

both brick <strong>and</strong> click. A notable solutions provider<br />

for the payment processing industry has implemented<br />

a new security initiative for the development of additional<br />

secure transaction identification services.<br />

Accesspoint Corp.’s new POS Business Solutions service<br />

provides merchants with a point-of-sale terminal that connects<br />

directly to Accesspoint’s transaction <strong>and</strong> business<br />

servers. This unique ability allows Accesspoint’s software<br />

with approximately 4,000 service accounts <strong>and</strong> by the first<br />

week of September had almost doubled that number. By<br />

mid-September the company’s processing numbers were<br />

ahead of the same periods for August, <strong>and</strong> it continues to<br />

add new merchants daily.<br />

Accesspoint continues to remain focused on the expansion<br />

of the sales channels, monthly increases in new merchant<br />

service accounts <strong>and</strong> its commitment to turn the merchant<br />

point-of-sale into a powerful sales <strong>and</strong> business-management<br />

device. Successful implementation of Accesspoint’s<br />

business objectives should provide long-term value for its<br />

customers <strong>and</strong> investors.<br />
