What is a <strong>PLU</strong> Code?<br />
• <strong>Price</strong> <strong>Look</strong> <strong>Up</strong> (<strong>PLU</strong>) codes are<br />
• 4 or 5 digit number that is primarily used to identify loose fresh<br />
produce items (and related items such as nuts and herbs)<br />
• appear on a small sticker that is applied to the individual piece of<br />
