Application<br />

Real time monitoring <strong>and</strong> surveillance of the docking harbor at the port of Ancona<br />

located on the Center East Cost in <strong>Italy</strong> to ensure asset protection.<br />

During the last 20 years commercial <strong>and</strong> passenger flow of traffic has increased<br />

substantially. At the moment the flow of passenger through the port is about 1,5<br />

million passengers / year.<br />

The peak passenger flow is during the summer particularly when it comes to<br />

goods bound for Greece, Croatia, Albania <strong>and</strong> Turkey.<br />

Also commercial traffic flow has recently increased, including commercial<br />

trucks, cointainers, etc.<br />

Nowadays Ancona <strong>Sea</strong> <strong>Port</strong> is recognized as a Greek way to Europe.
