Blizzards ® hit our area on Aug. 7
Blizzards ® were in the forecast—despite
sunny summer skies—and the people
in our area didn’t mind one bit! On
Thursday, August 7, participating
Dairy Queen ® and DQ Grill & Chill ®
locations celebrated the third-annual
Miracle Treat Day by donating proceeds
from the sales of their popular
Blizzard to Children’s Miracle Network
(CMN).
Dairy Queen has been a supporter of
CMN since 1984, raising more than
$70 million. Dairy Queen served up a
variety of Blizzard Flavor Treats during
Miracle Treat Day, including Oreo ® ,
the August Blizzard of the Month. The
Oreo Blizzard debuted in 1985, the
Blizzard’s inaugural year, and to this
day it remains the most popular flavor.

made miracles for kids during their 10th
anniversary campaign.
Love’s has been a proud supporter of
Children’s Miracle Network for nine
consecutive years. Along with our customers
we have raised more than $1.5 million to
help support children’s hospitals across the
country that are affiliated with the
Children’s Miracle Network. Through in
store fundraisers during the month of
September, we are able to help children in
every community we are located.
