Technical Specification<br />
Design:<br />
<strong>SliRitz</strong> is an armoured sliding window designed for to be fixed on all types of façades<br />
requiring a ballistic protection up to FB6 (EN 1522).<br />
<strong>Gunnebo</strong> provides a configuration with 1 or 2 panels (See page 2)<br />
Its structure and ballistic resistance enable to secure high-risk sites such as prison<br />
observation towers.<br />

- Sliding with 1 panel: Width ≥ 900mm<br />
- Central sliding: Width ≥ 1215mm<br />

500mm minimum or 700mm minimum<br />
For optimum mechanism performance, these 2 dimensions must be respected. The<br />
dimensional adaptation must be done on the fixed framework.<br />

Height / Width ratio < 2.5<br />

Panel + glazing must not exceed 150Kg<br />
Please note that <strong>Gunnebo</strong> has developed a calculation tool which allow to check<br />
weights and dimensions of the sliding window. Please refer to <strong>Gunnebo</strong>’s Customer<br />
Service or Product Manager.<br />
Classification:<br />
Ballistic test in FB6 resistance (EN 1522) (Certificate available on request)<br />
<strong>Gunnebo</strong> can provide other ballistic protection levels according to your project<br />
requirements.<br />
The Armoured sliding window has passed the AWW (Air Water Wind) test and has<br />
obtained the following results:<br />
A:4 / W:6A / W:C5<br />
(In accordance with norms EN 1026, EN 1027, EN 12207, EN 1208, EN 12210 &<br />
EN 12211)<br />
The FD P20-201 norm defines the AWW level required according to the area and to<br />
the facade orientation. In the most disadvantageous observation tower case (located<br />
in countryside with a height holds between 6 & 18m) the level required is:<br />
A:2 / W:5A / W:A2<br />
Certified wind resistance to 3000Pa or 250Km/h<br />

Linking with other frameworks:<br />
The sliding framework is associated to the C90 thermal breal framework. Several linkings are represented on pictures 4, 5, 6 & 7.<br />

Frameworks fixing systems on masonry<br />
The sliding framework can be either fixed between the wall (Pic.8), surface mounted (Pic.9) or with a rebate (Pic.10).<br />
