<strong>OBSESSION</strong> <strong>II</strong><br />

INTRODUCTION<br />

Designed by famous naval architect Berret/Racoupeau for an experienced yachtsman who wanted both comfort and<br />

performance, <strong>OBSESSION</strong> <strong>II</strong> combines exceptional outdoor relaxing areas and sumptuous accommodation for 8 guests.<br />

Thanks to an optimized hull and a new set of STRATIS sails, she is able to reach a top speed of app. 14 knots in perfect<br />

security. Her powerful MAN engine and her 75hp bow thruster make maneuvering at the dock painless even with a<br />

reduced crew.<br />

Her vast 34 sq. m. panoramic deck salon with wardrobe and bar and modern helm station offers a 360° view of the sea<br />

with an efficient air conditioning system and her sliding window panes sets her apart from other sailing yachts in this<br />

size.<br />

The versatile sea water swimming pool/tender storage on the foredeck and her hydraulic swim platform for<br />

comfortable and save boarding also make her unique in her size. In the stern she houses a 2 nd tender/water toys.<br />

The handcrafted warm cherry interior provides sumptuous accommodation with 4 cabins.<br />

The full beam Owner´s cabin has a walk-in dressing room and a very large bathroom with separate head and separate<br />

shower.<br />

There are two large double guest cabins and one smaller double cabin forward of the saloon) all with en-suite<br />

bathroom.<br />

The large full beam main salon amidships has on one side a dining area and on the other side a casual seating area for<br />

relaxation and entertainment.<br />

The crew area contains a dinette, one captain double cabin with en-suite bathroom and three single cabin sharing a<br />

bathroom.<br />

<strong>OBSESSION</strong> <strong>II</strong> has had one single owner since new, is VERITAS certified and has completed a major refit in 2012 and<br />

obtained her 5-year Bureau Veritas Class Certification in 11/2012.<br />

She is now ready for a new circumnavigation with a new and happy owner.<br />

Aft deck :<br />

The aft deck comes with a table and two large L shaped sofas well protected by a rigid roof top. For bathing, two large<br />

stairways lead to the aft platform which can be extended with a telescopic swimming platform at water level.<br />

The convenient spacious aft garage allows the easy launching of the Avon tender and the jet ski thanks to a 4m<br />

passerelle.<br />

There is also a shower and a telescopic swim ladder.<br />

This compartment is waterproof upon the Bureau Veritas classification.<br />

ACCOMMODATIONS<br />

MAIN DECK:<br />

On the foredeck, we find the tender stowage with a powerful hydraulic crane: once the tender has been launched, this<br />

area can be transformed in a pleasant 350L salt water Jacuzzi.<br />

What makes SY Obsession <strong>II</strong> really unique is her exceptional 34sq. m. deck salon that offers a 360° view of the sea<br />

with all comfort thanks to a powerful air conditioning system combined with her sliding windows panes that<br />

disappear into the coamings.<br />

This space is a privileged place to live protected from the cold in winter and the sun while keeping touch with the<br />

natural element: the sea.<br />

The deck salon comprises a dining area with a round table for 8/10 guests to port as well as two relaxing areas with<br />

coffee tables. There is also a bar area to relax with a bridge fridge, an ice maker, a sink.<br />

The wheelhouse is located forward with two seats and a well equipped communication area to starboard.<br />

LOWER DECK:<br />

The warm and clear cherry tree wood salon comprises a dining area with round table and seats to starboard and a<br />

relaxing area with an extra flat screen TV, coffee tables and three sofas to port.<br />

This part of 35 sq m is comfortable and offers silence and refinement for teh owner and his guests. All these space can<br />

be air-conditioned or heated in winter.<br />

Near the companion way there is a bar and you also have access to the fourth double cabin intended for children or a<br />

bodyguard. It has two berths in L and an en-suite shower room.<br />

The stern part is reserved to the Owner and his guests.<br />

A central corridor leads to two 14 sq m symmetrical double cabins which comprise a double central bed, a children<br />

berth bench, a closet, an en-suite shower room with separate w.c.<br />

There is a TV with a Hi Fi system as well as a satellite telephone in both cabins.<br />

At the end of the corridor there is the huge Owner cabin which comes with a central King size bed, a dressing table, a<br />

study area, an en-suite shower room with separate w.c. and a large dressing room.<br />

There is also an extra satellite/hertzien flat screen TV and a satellite telephone.<br />

The 4 big laterals portholes bring lot of light and offer a lovely view on the panorama.<br />

Maximum attention has been paid to comfort and safety thanks to a 10 cm thickness sound and thermo proofing that<br />

ensures a superior noise reduction.<br />

CREW QUARTERS<br />

The Crew quarter (5 x crew) has an independent exit and comprises 3 single crew cabins sharing one complete shower<br />

room and a separate w.c. There is also a double cabin for the Captain with an en-suite shower room and duplication of<br />

the navigation instruments.<br />

The crew quarter includes also a mess with a table and a U-shaped bench, a laundry, a kitchen with a fridge and a<br />

internal video surveillance.<br />

Stairs give access to the two waterproof engine compartments: Freezer, electric panel, batteries, charger,<br />

desalination. This compartment is refrigerated.<br />

The 2nd waterproof compartment, the engines room, has a fireproof door (1.80 m high under the bar), the main<br />

engine and the 2 generators.<br />
