Halton’s NaturalSorb Air Filtration
Made of natural wool, NaturalSorb Air Filteration will keep your metal baffle filters and
exhaust hood virtually grease free!
Wool is a natural grease attracter. Now NaturalSorb uses wool
in a filter system to collect nearly all the greasy particles that
exhaust up into your hood system. It keeps filters, vents, duct
system and roof almost grease-free, reducing labor, cleaning,
maintenance and repair, while diminishing the threat of fire. It
even helps keep the grease out of your HVACR and other roof
top systems, including fans and motors. The grease-absorbing
capability of wool can also lengthen the interval between your
scheduled professional cleaning and maintenance of vent
hood systems.
Benefits:
• Metal filters remain dry
• Grease drainage channels in the hood remain dry
• For long periods, the plenum remains grease free
• Virtually no grease accumulates in the ducting, on the roof and beyond

An hour or more vs. five minutes
Halton’s NaturalSorb Air Filtration System saves you time and money in so many
ways. One of the most dramatic is the time you save on cleaning. It only takes
a few minutes to change a NaturalSorb Air Filtration System filter. Compare that
to the ongoing washing of metal baffle filters: Taking down all the filters, itself a
potentially hazardous task. Washing them with detergents, chemical degreasers
or even pressure washers, all of which increase your water and chemical
usage. Then climbing up to put the metal baffle filters back into the vent hood.
Before
Instead, just replace the NaturalSorb Air Filtration System filters when needed.
Your metal baffle filters will be practically grease free, with the upstream wool
filter having stopped almost all the grease. Simply dispose of the filter, put on a
new one, and replace the unit with the special mounting tool. A few minutes. A
big savings on time and materials.
Environmentally friendly
Both the wool filter and the grease it collects are entirely biodegradable,
making it easy to dispose of. You just put it in with your regular trash.
After
Operator safety
A specially designed tool makes it easy to take the NaturalSorb filter system
in and out for changing. Your staff doesn’t have to use step ladders or crouch
above frying oil or other cooking equipment to remove your filters for
cleaning.
Kitchen fires
The accumulation of grease up through your vent system is a significant fire hazard. An estimated
40% of all fires start in the kitchen*. Grease fires–quick to spread and difficult to extinguish–are
a special dread for restaurant owners. By keeping your vent system relatively grease-free, the
NaturalSorb Air Filtration System helps reduce the risk of a devastating fire in your restaurant.
Degrease your rooftop
With all but no grease entering into your vent system, there is a similar reduction in grease on the roof.
That can lead to a substantial savings in roof maintenance and repair.
filters, vents, duct system and off your roof, call your local Halton representative.
