Voice over IP (VoIP)

There are different standards as far as the voice transmission
via internet is concerned: e.g. SIP (PC can, but has not to be
switched on) and Skype (at the moment only possible when
PC is switched on). Those who complete their DSL system with
an ATA adapter or with a VoIP modem router can use the usual
analogue telephone for VoIP. Special IP telephones are connected
to the router (SIP) or via USB directly to the PC (SIP/Skype).
