The St John’s Church has a short history recorded on their website <strong>and</strong> a fuller history is planned to be published in 2012.<br />

The St John’s Church includes burials in their churchyard. The Church has transcribed the burial register <strong>and</strong> intends to place the<br />

database on their Friends of St John’s website. The headstone inscriptions have been transcribed by members of the New Zeal<strong>and</strong><br />

Society of Genealogists <strong>and</strong> copies of the transcriptions are available at the Heritage centre in Petone Library.<br />
