Friday, August 3 Registrations received by this date will be included in the<br />

computer-based random course assignment process.<br />

Registrations will continue to be accepted by mail.<br />

However, walk-in registrations will not be accepted until<br />

August 27.<br />

August 6–10 Office closed. Registration processing.<br />

Week <strong>of</strong> August 20 Class registration letters mailed to members.<br />

August 27–29 In-person late registration and drop/add 10 a.m.–2 p.m.<br />

Arsht Hall.<br />

Tuesday, August 28 <strong>University</strong> credit classes begin.<br />

Monday, September 3 Labor Day holiday. Office closed.<br />

Tuesday, September 4 Lifelong Learning classes begin.<br />

Tuesday, November 6 Election Day. Office closed. No classes.<br />

Thursday–Friday, November 22-23 Thanksgiving holiday. Office closed. No classes.<br />

Friday, December 7 Last day <strong>of</strong> Lifelong Learning fall semester classes.<br />

February 4–May 10 Spring semester.<br />

assignment process. After the computer-based<br />

random course assignments are made, letters will<br />

be mailed to registrants listing classes for which<br />

they are scheduled. Mail-in registrations will<br />

continue to be processed, however no in-person<br />

registrations are accepted until Drop/Add and Late<br />

Registration begins on Monday, August 27 (details<br />

below). The Office will be closed August 6–10 for<br />

registration processing.<br />

Drop/Add and Late Registration: Drop/Add and<br />

in-person late registrations will be accepted on a<br />

first-come, first-served basis at Arsht Hall<br />

beginning August 27 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.<br />

for classes with openings. Drop/Add requests and<br />

late registrations will continue to be processed<br />

through the third week <strong>of</strong> classes.<br />

After the third week, each instructor will handle<br />

drop/add for his or her course; request permission<br />

to join a class directly from the instructor. If you<br />

are simply dropping a course after the third week<br />

<strong>of</strong> classes, leave a note in the instructor’s mail box<br />

in the Reception area. The instructor will inform<br />

the Office so that the record <strong>of</strong> your schedule can<br />

be updated.<br />

PARKING<br />

Members parking on the <strong>University</strong>’s Wilmington<br />

Campus must display a parking permit (hangtag)<br />

with the current date sticker in place. There is no<br />

charge for the parking permit.<br />

Please complete the Application Form for a<br />

Parking Hangtag found at the back <strong>of</strong> this catalog<br />

and bring (do not mail) it to Arsht Hall during<br />
