Eligibility for Degree & PG Courses PG Courses Qualification & Minimum Marks: : Candidates must have passed graduation in concerned field from any recognized University and should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in BPT, B.Sc. MLT, B.Sc. Microbiology, B.Sc. Medical Microbiology, B.Sc. Medical Biochemistry or equivalent qualifying examination. UG Courses : Qualification & Minimum Marks: The Candidates must have passed the 10+2, i.e. ISC/Intermediate examination or its equivalent examination of any recognized Indian Board / University with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together for BPT and 45% marks for all other courses. Note: In respect of candidates belonging to Schedule Castes / Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the minimum marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ English taken together in the qualifying examination shall be 45% for BPT and 40% for other courses. Note: Candidates having Health Care Sciences/Biotechnology are also eligible for all undergraduate courses. Note: Candidate with Maths/Computer Science/Statistics/Electronics/Psychology instead of Biology are also eligible for admission into BASLP course. Age: Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31 st December of the admission year. Eligibility for Diploma/Certificate Courses Qualification & Minimum Marks: Candidates must have passed the 10+2, i.e. ICSE / Intermediate examination or its equivalent examination of any recognized Indian Board / University with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Maths subjects and must have secured a minimum of 45% marks. Pass in English is a must at 12 th standard. Age: Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31 st December of the admission year. For DNT Course candidates should have passed the B.Sc. Physics / Electronics / Computer science with minimum 2 nd class division in qualifying examination, OR Diploma in electronic / electrical / instrumentation, OR 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Maths with Diploma in Computer / EEG OR 2 years Institutional experience in EEG with 50% marks taken together in all subjects. Age: Candidates should have completed 20 years of age as on 31 st December of the admission year. Lateral Entry: Direct admission to second year for all undergraduate paramedical courses (except BASLP), subject to availability of seats. Candidates who have passed regular Two years Diploma course with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from any recognized institute are eligible. Eligibility for lateral entry into BASLP course, as per the norms of Rehabilitation Council of India. (4)
Admission Process Selection Criterion: Selection will be made as per the merit list prepared on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination. Procedure for submission of application form for admission All the particulars required in the application form need to be written carefully. If a candidate furnishes false information, his/her admission will be cancelled at any stage and fees paid will not be refunded. The complete application form should be accompanied by the following documents: 1. An attested true copy of Matriculation Certificate showing the date of birth (No other evidence of candidate’s date of birth will be accepted). 2. An attested true copy of marks from the University Board or from the Principal / Head of the college / Institute from which the candidate has passed the qualifying 10+2 examination with the prescribed subjects (The year of passing this examination must be indicated). 3. Recent passport size colored photograph of the candidate pasted on application form must be attested by the Principal of the school / Institution last attended or a Gazetted Officer. 4. Two additional recent passport size photographs (same as pasted on application form). 5. An attested true copy of character certificate from the Principal / Head of the college/ Institute last attended. 6. Two medium size (9x4") self-addressed envelop with Rs. 5/- postage stamp affixed. 7. In case of applications forms downloaded through the website, D.D. of Rs.350/- must be sent along with the form It is the candidate’s responsibility to ensure that the required qualifications for admission to the chosen program are submitted. In case any lacuna is found after admission and enrollment is denied by the affiliated University, the Institute shall not be responsible for any financial loss, direct or indirect on this account. All original documents shall be deposited with the Dean Office once admission is offered, which will be returned to candidate after completion of the course. Notes: 1. Please do not send the original certificates along with the application form. Originals should be produced and submitted when called for. Failure to submit the originals will result in cancellation of admission. 2. The Application Form, complete in all respects, should be sent in the closed envelope by Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier or Hand delivered, so as to reach the office of the Dy. Dean (Paramedical), HIHT University not later than 17:00 hours on the prescribed date. 3. Incomplete application forms are liable to be rejected. 4.
