Chapter Seven, Taking Shape.
By December 1985 significant progress had been made and the garages on
the Eastern side were under construction. An entranceway was also taking
shape, although at weekends access was blocked in order to minimise risk
of theft.
This was the view
towards the North
East corner at the
end of 1985. The
trees remained in
place in accord
with planning
consent.
