HUNTSMAN AND CHEMIE PLAST JOIN FORCES FOR FAKUMA<br />

Osnabrück, Germany – Thermo<strong>plast</strong>ic polyurethane (TPU) experts from Huntsman will travel to<br />

Friedrichshafen, Germany, in October to participate in Fakuma – the international trade fair <strong>for</strong><br />

<strong>plast</strong>ics processing.<br />

As in previous years, Huntsman will share st<strong>and</strong> space at Fakuma with Chemie Plast – its<br />

commercial distribution partner in Germany. Independently, Huntsman <strong>and</strong> Chemie Plast each have<br />

more than 25 years experience in the <strong>plast</strong>ics processing industry. Together they <strong>for</strong>m a <strong>for</strong>midable<br />

partnership: Huntsman has a reputation <strong>for</strong> excellence in the development of first-class TPU<br />

materials; <strong>and</strong> Chemie Plast is an added-value distributor that helps companies source innovative<br />

<strong>plast</strong>ic materials <strong>for</strong> a wide variety of applications.<br />

Huntsman Polyurethanes has one of the widest TPU technology plat<strong>for</strong>ms available anywhere in the<br />

world. Its IROGRAN ® <strong>and</strong> AVALON ® TPUs can be injection molded, extruded <strong>and</strong> compounded <strong>for</strong><br />

<strong>and</strong> temperature resistance. Originally developed <strong>for</strong> use in the production of hydraulic seals,<br />

IROGRAN ® A 95 K 6977 is now also popular in the manufacture of transportation belts, bumpers <strong>and</strong><br />

shock absorbers.<br />

German customers using IROGRAN ® A 95 K 6977 include Breco Antriebstechnik Breher GmbH &<br />

Co. KG – a producer of polyurethane timing belt technology. More in<strong>for</strong>mation about Huntsman <strong>and</strong><br />

Chemie Plast’s work with Breco will be released on the first day of Fakuma.<br />
