Eviction
An eviction warrant has been applied for because you
have not kept to the order set by the court.

An eviction warrant has
been applied for because
you have not kept to the
order set by the court.
Eviction is the very last resort. We have made
several attempts to prevent this action being
taken and the last thing we want to do is to
repossess your home, however we now have
no further choice.
To prevent the eviction
taking place you must
act now by either:
Clearing the whole debt
l Pay the whole debt immediately (funds must
clear into our bank account at least a day
before the eviction).
l If you clear all arrears on your account and
any court costs incurred, we will cancel the
eviction and you will no longer have a court
order against you.
Applying for suspension of the warrant
l You have the right to apply to court to
request the possession of your home to be
suspended.
However, this may not be successful and you
may be required to pay a court fee.
Preparing for the
eviction
You should:
l Contact the housing options team at your
local council to see if they can provide
accommodation for you. However, they
may not be obligated to do this.
l Clear all belongings from the property
before the time of the eviction as access
to the property will be restricted after this
time.
l Make sure the property is left clean and
tidy so you are not charged for cleaning
costs.
l Clear your debt with us as soon as
possible as these arrears may affect your
chances of being re-housed.
Most importantly…
Always keep in touch with us, especially if
your circumstances change.
We are here to help you and provide
guidance to prevent you losing your home.
