This catalogue gives a list of all the publications of the International Court of
Justice from its establishment in 1946 until 31 May 2008. These publications are
listed by sales numbers which correspond (with a few exceptions) to their order
of publication.
Unless otherwise mentioned, their size is 15.6 × 24 cm.
The prices are given in US dollars. These publications may be obtained for an
equivalent price in local currency from any bookseller selling United Nations
publications. All orders must, as far as possible, give the sales numbers of the
volumes required.

The publications of the International Court of Justice are issued in several
series.
Reports of Judgments, Advisory Opinions and Orders (ISSN 0074-4441). This
series contains the Reports of the decisions of the Court in both the English and
the French texts. Each decision is published as soon as given, in an unbound
fascicle which is sold separately. To allow for binding, a system of continuous
pagination is adopted for all the fascicles of any one year.
At the beginning of each year, an analytical index is published of the previous
year’s decisions; this also may be purchased separately. A stiff cover is available
for the purpose of assembling the index and issues bought separately at the time
of their publication. The collected decisions, with index, for each year may also
be obtained ready bound together in one volume. (See pp. 50-52, infra.)
For the decisions relating to any particular case it will generally be necessary
to refer to several volumes. (See the Alphabetical Index, infra.)
Pleadings, Oral Arguments, Documents (ISSN 0074-4433). Volumes in this series
are published as soon as possible after the termination of each case and contain
