epizootic of West Nile Virus (WNV) infections was<br />

• Human case rates were three times higher in<br />
geographic areas with a high density of earlyseason<br />
crow deaths<br />
• Combine with other studies early season and<br />
other avian deaths is related to eventual human<br />
