Dean’s Message<br />
It is indeed a pleasure to know that the students of the Department of Computer & Information<br />
Sciences are commencing the Placement programme for the year 2011-12. I take this<br />
opportunity to extend a warm invitation to all the prospective recruiters. I am sure you will<br />
find our students very bright and well equipped to meet the needs and challenges of the I.T<br />
industry and I am sure they will meet your expectations.<br />
Our students are admitted through a national level entrance examination to our postgraduate<br />
teaching and research programme. You will find them well trained in all major areas of<br />
Computing and Information Sciences and also in Artificial Intelligence. Our dedicated and<br />
expert faculty train and prepare them to equip themselves to suit the ever growing and ever<br />
changing requirements and demands of the I.T industry.<br />
I wish all our students a very successful career ahead in their lives. I also extend a warm<br />
welcome to all organizations who are participating in the process of recruitment. We look<br />
forward to forging long term ties between our academia and the industry.<br />
