(b) terminates upon the cessation of membership whether by death or
resignation or otherwise.
(11) The entrance fee is the relevant amount set out in Appendix 4.
(12) The annual subscription is the relevant amount set out in Appendix 4 and is
payable in advance on or before 1 July in each year.
(13) Categories of membership include:
(a) Any person may apply to become an Individual Member
(b) A person on low income, or a student may apply to become a Concession
Member
(c) A family of related individuals living at the one address may apply to
become a Family Member, but must nominate an individual to be
the primary contact for the family, and to represent the family at
general meetings, and must provide the names of all other
members of the family who are part of the application,
(d) A not for profit organisation may apply to become a Non-profit Organisation
Member, but must nominate an individual to be the primary
contact for the organisation, and to represent the organisation at
general meetings.
(e) Any organisation may apply to become a Corporation Member, but must
nominate an individual to be the primary contact for the
organisation, and to represent the organisation at general
meetings.
(f) Any individual may apply to become a Life Member.
(g) Any family of related individuals living at the one address may apply to
become a Family Life Member, but must nominate an individual
to be the primary contact for the family, and to represent the
family at general meetings, and who would retain the
membership in the event that the family changes.
5 Register of members
(1) The Secretary must keep and maintain a register of members containing—
(a) the name and address of each member; and
(b) the date on which each member's name was entered in the register.
(2) The register is available for inspection free of charge by any member upon
request.
(3) A member may make a copy of entries in the register.
6 Ceasing membership
(1) A member of the Association who has paid all moneys due and payable by a
member to the Association may resign from the Association by giving one
month's notice in writing to the Secretary of his or her intention to resign.
