iCount - function description<br />
iCount modules are mounted centrally above the<br />
doorway at a height of 2 to 3m and 30-60cm from the<br />
door threshold. Therefor, each module can capture<br />
passenger movements across a passageway -0.80 to<br />
2.80m wide.<br />
A stereoscopic camera system with two cameras 8cm<br />

If a passenger passes through the entry threshold first<br />

When a passenger crosses the exit threshold first followed<br />

and parallel movements of passengers.<br />
To optimise accuracy, passengers are only counted once<br />
until the vehicle doors have opened. Movements that<br />
occur while the vehicle is in motion are ignored. Once the<br />
doors close, the counting process stops and the results<br />
are transferred.
