What the experts say
about IJMMP
“Before now, the publication of rigorous and insightful
thermal process papers has been a highly fragmented
enterprise with contributions spread over many
journals worldwide. Now with IJMMP, it is possible to
follow the most significant advances in materials
science and engineering by reading one journal. These
advances involve bulk thermal processing effects and
surface engineering as well as advances in emerging
technologies. Content includes science and
engineering of new materials and processes, structure
and property characterisation, modelling and testing
technologies. This is indeed an important new journal.”
Prof. Dr. George E. Totten
Portland State University
Department of Mechanical and Materials
Engineering, Portland, OR, USA
“By following the latest nano, micro and macroscopic
techniques for structure analysis of bulk materials as
well as of surface layer properties and steadily
developing mathematical modelling software, this new
journal will substantially contribute to deepen the
knowledge in the field of materials science.
Application of this knowledge to different conventional
as well as most modern materials engineering
processes is a special feature of this journal.”
Prof.Dr.Bozidar Liscic´
Former President of International Federation for
Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering (IFHTSE),
University of Zabreb, Croatia
