304. Mr Etienne Jacobus le Roux [AM6467/97] and Mr Johan Wilhelm du Plessis<br />
[AM6480/907] were granted amnesty for violations arising from an explosion in<br />
B ree Street, Johannesburg on 24 April 1994. The explosion killed seven people:<br />
Mr Jostine Makho Buthelezi, Mr Makomene Alfred Matsepane, Mr Goodman<br />
Dumisani Ludidi, Ms Gloria Thoko Fani, Ms Susan Ann Keane, Mr Peter Lester<br />
Malcolm Ryland and an unidentified man. At least thirteen other people were<br />
i n j u red in the attack. The applicants were also granted amnesty for malicious<br />
injury to property and the unlawful possession of explosive devices and material<br />
[ A C / 1999 / 0342 ].<br />
305. Le Roux and Du Plessis were granted amnesty for violations arising from an<br />
explosion at Jan Smuts Airport, Johannesburg on election day, 27 April 1994, in<br />
which at least ten people were injured. They were also granted amnesty for<br />
malicious injury to property and the unlawful possession of explosive devices<br />
and material [AC/1999/0342].<br />
306. Mr Etienne le Roux, Mr Jan Bastiaan de Wet [AM6466/97], Mr Johannes<br />
Abraham Vlok [AM7888/97] and MrJohan du Plessis were granted amnesty for<br />
violations arising from a bomb explosion on the corner of Odendaal and Vi c t o r i a<br />
S t reets in Germiston, Transvaal on 25 April 1994. Ten people were killed by the<br />
bomb: Mr Phillip Nelaphi Nkosi, Mr Mbulawa Jonathan Skosana, Mr Lucas<br />
Shemane Bokaba, Ms Gloria Khoza, Mr Fickson Mlala, Mr Mbereyeni Marc u s<br />
Siminza, Mr Paul Etere Ontory, Mr Thulani Buthelezi and Ms Thoko Rose Sithole.<br />
At least seven other people were injured in the explosion. The applicants were<br />
also granted amnesty for malicious injury to property and the unlawful possession<br />
of explosive devices and material [AC/1999/0342].<br />

Johannes Andries ‘JJ’ Venter [AM6577/97], Mr Jacobus Petrus Nel<br />
[AM6469/97], Mr Petrus Paulus Steyn [AM6479/97] and Mr Gerhardus Daniel<br />
‘Gert’ Fourie [AM6468/97] were granted amnesty for violations resulting fro m :<br />
