The 8th Kazakhstani International specialized exhibition of equipment and technologies for agriculture<br />
<strong>AgriTek</strong> <strong>Astana</strong>'2013 was held from 13 until 15 March 2013 in <strong>Astana</strong> city in the Exhibition center “Korme”.<br />
The following were present during the official ceremony of exhibition opening that took place on March 13:<br />

UFI in the category of “Exhibition organizers”. <strong>AgriTek</strong> <strong>Astana</strong> has been granted the status of<br />
“UFI Approved Event”. “UFI Approved Event” sign confirms level of event management, influence of such<br />
events on business and industry development, and also confirms reliability of statistical data. UFI Association<br />
carries out certification on the basis of the annual results of audit of exhibition events.<br />

Analysis of visitors<br />
Audit of exhibition has been conducted in accordance with the<br />
“UFI Auditing Rules for Statistics of UFI Approved Events” and<br />
the “UFI Calculation Standards and Definitions”. According to<br />
audit, the exhibition was visited by 4 430 people, practically from<br />
all regions of Kazakhstan, and also from 22 countries. At the pie<br />
chart the geography of the visitors is graphically presented.<br />
It is clear that the exhibition caused the biggest interest among<br />
specialists such visitors were 94% (according to audit). The<br />
majority of the visitors have the very direct relationship to<br />
agriculture that is from the companies which profile is agricultural<br />
equipment, plant cultivation, cattle breeding, fertilizers and<br />
seeds. From the remaining visitors the majority was also<br />
attracted to the exhibition by the professional interest, they were<br />
the personnel of construction, transport and communications,<br />
commerce, financial structures and etc., which activities also<br />
cover the agricultural sphere.<br />
At the same time the majority of the visitors were presented by<br />
the heads of organizations (directors, presidents, chairmen,<br />
head's of the farms) and the heads of subdivisions (managers,<br />
heads of the sections, departments and etc.).The exhibition also<br />
attracted lots of the specialists of agricultural branch –<br />
agronomists, engineers, production engineers, veterinarians,<br />
zoo technicians, etc. Students of Agrarian University prevailed<br />
over nonspecialists.
