1) The device is electronically made to pulse. The control factor falls to nought at the ‘heating’ output as the temperature rises and rises at the<br />

‘cooling’ output to E = 1. The pulsing causes a small temperature deviation of 0.1...0.5 K, depending on the time constant of the room.<br />

Operation<br />

The room temperature is measured using an internal NTC temperature sensor and then <strong>com</strong>pared<br />

with the setpoint. An electric switching relay is pulsed in relation to the temperature deviation. When<br />

the setpoint has been reached, the control factor = 0.5. The control system has proportional behaviour<br />

with a P-band of 3 K.<br />

In the event of a power failure (for longer than 1 s), the setpoint is lost. If the setpoint is not re-entered,<br />

a value of 22 °C is automatically set.<br />

Engineering and fitting notes<br />

Fitting position: horizontal on walls, avoiding draughts and insolation, at a height of approx. 1.5 m.<br />
