What’s Happening in Room 112!<br />
The children had a wonderful time at our classroom Christmas Party this afternoon. Thanks so much<br />
to the following room parents for providing fun games & activities, crafts, and delicious food: Amy<br />
Nowell, Patty Overton, Brandy Maynard, Jenny Mitschelen, Angela Fee, Lori Agens, Tammy Conklin,<br />
Lynanne Kunkel, and Misty Lloyd. We appreciate you giving your time and energy at this busy time<br />
of year! J<br />
The High School music department helped us get in the Christmas Spirit this morning as they<br />
treated us to a great Christmas concert. We truly enjoyed it!<br />
Please review math facts! Fact Fluency now counts as 20% of the math grade.<br />
Spelling Club meets every Tuesday in <strong>Dec</strong>ember and January from 4-5:00 in the media center. The<br />
E.P. Clarke Spelling Bee will be held on Tues., Jan. 29 th .<br />

The fourth grade teachers would like to thank you for the<br />
generous donations for the Emergency Shelter. We have<br />
received over $200 and our class has collected many warm<br />
hats, gloves, mittens, and even coats to send over to the<br />
shelter. Thanks so much for supporting this effort!<br />

Today, your 4 th grader will be bringing home a <strong>Fri</strong>day<br />
Folder. There are graded papers and Reminders notes for you. and If<br />
you don’t see it, ask for it! Please go through it with<br />
him or her over the weekend, sign the record sheet,<br />
write and comments or concerns, and send it back<br />
empty on Monday. I’ve appreciated the notes you’ve<br />
taken time to jot down in the folder. Thank you!<br />

Take this into consideration when sending snacks and class treats! If you are planning to send<br />
in a birthday treat or star of the week treat, please give me a day’s notice so that we can have<br />
