BACKGROUND • When given the mandate to develop a legacy project for the OC – decided on the Football Turfs for the 52 SAFA Regions • Felt it was important that the soccer players in our country have a legacy of the <strong>2010</strong> FWC • Project approved by the CEO, Board Sub-<strong>Committee</strong> and the Board • Had to find funds to make the project a reality • The National Lottery agreed to fund the first 27 Football Turfs
