2013 Honorary Convention Chairman
Dr. Sam Jones
Because of his friendship and support for Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes, Dr. Sam
Jones is our Honorary Convention Chairman at the Dallas Convention this year. Dr.
Jones is the Vice President of Spiritual Development at Freed-Hardeman University
and has been a member of the FHU faculty since 1991. In addition to his work at
Freed-Hardeman, Dr. Jones preaches regularly for the Oak Grove Church of Christ in
Henderson, Tenn. and conducts gospel meetings. Dr. Jones stand for the truth of the
gospel and his love of Christian education is well known. We are honored to count him
our friend and honorary Convention Chairman in Dallas!
Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes is honored to be endorsed by Phil Sanders and Mack Lyon, hosts of In Search
of the Lord’s Way. An outreach ministry of the Edmond Church of Christ in Edmond, Okla., In Search of the
Lord’s Way is a weekly television program can be seen on 76 broadcast stations, 205 cable and public access
stations, 45 radio stations and two satellite networks.
