The Complaints Committee shall be deemed to be the inquiring authority
appointed by the disciplinary authority for the purpose of CCS(CCA) Rules, 1965.
The Committee will examine the complaints made by women employee(s) against
sexual harassment and, if necessary, conduct an enquiry. The report of the
Complaints Committee should be treated as enquiry report. On completion of the
same, the Committee will submit the findings to the Secretary, CWC for further
necessary action. The Committee will also make an annual report of the complaints
received and action suggested by the Committee.
Management Committee of CWC Departmental Canteens
Dr. Naresh Kumar, Director, Dam Safty Mointoring, CWC has been
nominated as Chairman of the Management Committee of Departmental Canteens
at West Block-II, 3 rd Floor and 7 th Floor of Sewa Bhawan, R.K.Puram, New Delhi
with effect from 16.09.2010. Shri Jai Pal Singh, Section Officer, Establishment-XIII,
CWC is nominated as Member(Official Member).

Other Activities :
1. Under Apprenticeship Act 1961, 3 vocation certificate holders and 2 students
have undergone practical training in CWC.
2. A Presentation on “Yoga & Meditation for a Happy and Healty Life” held on
10.09.2010 in Training Hall, CWC, HQ. by Dr. S.C. Manchanda, renowned
Cardiologist and Senior Consultant of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and Swami
Dharmanand ji, Aadhyatam Sadhna Kendra, Chhatarpur, New Delhi.
3. “Hindi-Pakhwara” celebrated w.e.f. 14.09.2010 to 29.09.2010 in Training
Hall, CWC, New Delhi.
4. Chief Engineer, NWA visited United Kingdom and Egypt on a study tour from
20 th -27 th September, 2010 under Hydrology Project-II Project.
5. Dr. R.N.Sankhua, Director proceeded to USA for a WMO sponsored Training
of Trainers Programme in Hydraulic Modeling.
