Special leaf <strong>chain</strong>s with plastic guides<br />
Leaf <strong>chain</strong>s with externally positioned plastic tube guides are generally used in forklifts as load <strong>chain</strong>s. The plastic link<br />
plates are usually mounted on <strong>the</strong> outside of <strong>the</strong> pins and have following effect: When <strong>the</strong> unavoidable vibration or<br />
jamming of <strong>the</strong> <strong>chain</strong> occurs, <strong>the</strong> <strong>chain</strong> links will not hit <strong>the</strong> piston rod of <strong>the</strong> hydraulic cylinder, but <strong>the</strong> protruding plastic link<br />
plates. This means that nei<strong>the</strong>r <strong>chain</strong> or cylinder are damaged. The plastic coverings are also available as inside-positioned,<br />
T, U or L formed coverings.<br />
