About the Author<br />
Lisa Aasheim, PhD, NCC, ACS, is the coordinator of the School Counseling<br />
Master’s Program and the director of the Community Counseling Clinic<br />
at Portland State University. She also maintains a private practice offering<br />
counseling, clinical supervision, and agency and school consultation. She is<br />
a chapter author of numerous textbooks and has presented at ACES, ACA,<br />
and the Oregon Counselors Association. Dr. Aasheim has participated in<br />
the Oregon Board of Licensed Therapists and Counselors, the Teachers<br />
Standards and Practice Commission regarding social work licensure, and in<br />
clinical supervision revisions and standards.<br />
