2012 EUROVISION SONG CONTEST RULES
DELIVERY SCHEDULE
Materials/information to be delivered
to the EBU Permanent Services by each Participating Broadcaster
Materials for the production of the ESC Countdown Shows
and other audiovisual programmes.
Digital recording of the broadcast of the Final of the national selection
Materials for the CD/DVD compilation
Original master recording (professional studio recording) of the track as it is
being performed at the ESC:
o A full version (on CD, on FTP server or via www.yousendit.com)
o A full version without the lead vocal(s) (but including backing singer vocals) to be used as karaoke
version (on CD, on FTP server or via www.yousendit.com)
Complete label copy including the following exact information on the participating
song (on FTP server/ESC Intranet):
o Title
o Artist name(s)
o Name(s) of the Composer(s)
o Name(s) of the Lyricist(s)
o Name(s) of the Publisher(s), if any
o ISRC Codes - one on the full version, one on the karaoke version
High Resolution photo(s) of the Artist(s) for e.g. release booklets (on FTP
server/ESC Intranet)
The Lyrics (in Roman letters) of the participating song as it will be performed at the
ESC possibly for e.g. release booklets (on FTP server/ESC Intranet)
Video of local performance, music and/or presentation video (the "Preview
Materials") possibly for e.g. inclusion on the DVD and/or in TV/Internet marketing (on
DigiBeta).
If available, Biographies and/or Artist Logos (on FTP server/ESC Intranet).
Signed CD/DVD licence Agreement
Materials in relation to the song
Two copies of a sound recording of its entry and the corresponding backing-track
(which shall contain no vocals of any kind or any vocals imitations), where applicable.
Two copies of a video clip of the song, on DigiBeta, Beta SP or SX tape, to be used as
a Preview so as to enable the Host Broadcaster to edit and copy the tapes and to
distribute them to the Participating Broadcasters during the HoD Meeting.
Information for the Official ESC Website and the CD/DVD Compilation album
(to be completed and materials to be uploaded in the data entry sheet on the ESC Intranet)
The lyrics of the song in the language in which it will be sung at the Shows, together
with English and French translations (as applicable), for duplication and distribution to
the Participating Broadcasters.
Song details, MP3 sound file, WMV video file.
Recording and broadcast information.
Biographies (with English and French translations, as applicable), pictures of the
artist(s), and any relevant material, as well as, on a regular basis, as much information
and as many pictures as possible for, inter alia, publication on the official website of
the ESC.
