Cutaway
The Satellite is an offset, single cutaway, all mahogany guitar with 2 P-90's and a
25" scale. The mahogany is warm and the custom wound Fralin P-90's are big on
midrange when used clean and extremely powerful when overdriven without being
harsh. Simply classic!
The MT takes the Satellite concept one step further with the addition of front and
back body carves, a figured maple top and humbucking pickups. The carves are
graceful and make the body more ergonomical. The maple top adds midrange and
clarity to the warm mahogany and the humbuckers expand the tonal spectrum.
The DG is based on the guitar I built for former XTC guitarist Dave Gregory back in
1996. It features a mahogany body and neck and a 24-3/4" scale. I've made a few
improvements to the original by giving the peghead a 14 degree angle and
replacing the Gretsch re-issue pickups that I used in Dave's guitar with TV Jones
Filtertrons. Unlike typical humbuckers, the Filtertrons are amazingly clear and
articulate with a tight bottom end and loads of sparkle on top.
The Thinline Satellite is lightweight and beautiful. Available with or without the
"pipe" soundhole. Dropping these TV Jones Filtertrons into this semi-hollow alder
and maple body produces a rich, full sound with great low, middle and high end.
The maple neck contributes to a clear and pronounced tone.
The Orbiter is a double cutaway version of the Satellite and also comes standard
with a mahogany body and neck and 2 P-90's. As with any of my guitars it can be
ordered with an unlimited number of options to suit your individual needs. Create
your own classic!
The Orbiter MT has a sleek, asymmetrical, double cutaway, mahogany body with a
carved figured maple top, a mahogany neck and 2 humbuckers.
The Partridge guitar is the result of my collaboration with legendary
singer/songwriter/guitarist Andy Partridge of XTC. Andy had essentially requested
that I build him a solid body electric guitar wrapped in the timeless lines of a 3/4
scale classical guitar. The first prototype was built in 1996 and over the years
we've made a few changes to improve upon and streamline the original concept.
The chambered mahogany body has a concealed maple core and a bound Sitka
spruce top. Its look is the only subtle thing about it.
The Partridge Cutaway shares all the same features as the Partridge but the
cutaway body style improves access to the upper frets.
$2500
Tonestar
I
$2700
Tonestar
II
$2800
The Tonestar I has a double cutaway, semi-hollow maple body, a figured maple
top, a maple neck and 2 mini-humbuckers. The semi-hollow body makes for a
lightweight guitar with a very clear tone and a warm low end. The maple gives it an
open ring with good clarity, not harsh but very alive, both clean and dirty.
The Tonestar II utilizes the same body style as the Tonestar I but the mahogany
back and neck, along with the full-size humbuckers, add another dimension, a
thickness to the tone and give it a more pronounced and forceful midrange.
Gravitone Right between the 25" scale guitar and the 32" scale bass guitar is my 28-1/16"
scale baritone guitar. The standard sub-sonic 6-string sports a solid, carved alder

$1900 body, bolt-in maple neck and 2 custom wound Fralin Tele bridge pickups. If you
prefer the Orbiter or Tonestar body style you can order a baritone version of those
models as well and their respective base prices apply. The Gravitone is strung
with .015 -.080 gauge strings and tuned to 'A' or select the gauge of strings and
tuning of your choice. Tune down for a whole new sound!
Rhythmstar
Bass
$2500
The 32" medium scale Rhythmstar Bass has a double cutaway, semi-hollow alder
body, an alder top, a maple neck and 2 mini-humbuckers. The semi-hollow alder
body has similar tonal characteristics to a solid alder body with a strong, clear and
articulate punch. The independent volumes and coil taps allow a wide range of
humbucking and single coil tones to come out of this bass, from Motown to Brit
Pop to Rock and everything in between.
