(wire and non-wire brushes) and Maintenance<br />

<strong>Power</strong> <strong>Brushes</strong><br />
■■<strong>Power</strong> wire brushes are designed to be<br />
used on power tools and are available in a<br />
large variety of brush styles and wire configurations.<br />
This group of brushes consists of<br />
carbon steel, stainless steel (INOX) and brass<br />
filled wire in crimped, knotted and ECAP ®<br />
configurations.<br />
■■<strong>Power</strong> Non-<strong>Wire</strong> brushes encompasses a<br />
broad range of M-BRAD abrasive filament<br />
brushes, as well as Tampico and nylon wheel<br />
brushes.<br />
➊ Select Filament Material<br />
First, the optimum filament material for the<br />
brush application is chosen to suit the material<br />
to be brushed. The filament materials are colourcoded<br />
for easier recognition:<br />
Steel <strong>Wire</strong> – grey<br />
Stainless Steel <strong>Wire</strong> (INOX) – blue<br />
Brass <strong>Wire</strong> – yellow<br />
M-BRAD Abrasive Filament – red<br />
Nylon/Natural Bristle – brown<br />
➋ Select Filament Style<br />
Depending on the desired brushing effect, you<br />
can choose between wire filament (crimped or<br />
knot wire), and M-BRAD abrasive filament.<br />

The best recommended brush can be found<br />
below your application.<br />
