“The Health Sciences program at UOIT provides
students with a unique learning experience. During
my time at UOIT I have acquired a wide range of
knowledge; the emphasis was not just on the sciences
but also focusing on the fundamental skills required
to excel in any health-care profession. For instance,
we are provided with detailed explanations of the
health-care system and financial structure; methods for
exhibiting successful interprofessional collaboration;
and many other topics that offer the perfect balance
between the study of health, and sciences. In addition
to the great learning experience, I have to admit the
Health Science faculty consists of amazing staff. They
are always supportive and readily available to assist
students with anything. To sum it up in a nutshell, the
Health Sciences program at UOIT is exceptional.”
