ertex VSG - print modules are setup for facades, parapet and overhead glazings where the transparency
and appearance are important. The enamelled porous print or the complete coating of the rearside of the
module glass plate make special architectural requirements possible.
The ertex VSG - print modules consist of mono- or polycrystalline silicon solar cells encapsulated in an ageresistant
PVB sheet (Polyvinylbutyral) between two tempered glass plates (ESG). The frontside consists of a
highly transparent white glass and guarantees high light transmission. The rearside is coated with an age
resistant enamel which is stoved at 600 °C in the glass. The electrical junctions of the module are lined along
the faceside of the glass.
The PVB sheet guarantees the same mechanical and reliable features as the over decades well established
laminated safety glass.
ertex VSG - print modules are break-through safe and suitable for overhead glazing.
VSG - print modules can be customised with a size of 2.000 x 4.000 mm.
Applications
Colour design of the PV facades
Shading elements
Architectural design
Layout
Frontside: ESG-white glass
Cell type poly- or monocrystalline solar cells, type 156 x 156 mm
Cell embedding: PVB-lamination (Polyvinylbutyral)
Rearside: ESG-Glass with enamelled coating
Junctions: Junction box along the glass edge with connection assembly and 4 mm² junction cable appropiate
to the module width
