Peter Anderton Day Centre
The Peter Anderton Day Centre operates Monday
to Friday and provides a range of tailored
activities and events to support the needs of
seniors and people with disabilities.
Our innovative programme is client-focused and
emphasises on the physical, mental, emotional
and social needs of participants. We have skilled
and friendly staff available to support clients to
enjoy and participate in all activities.
Transport to and from the centre in a modern
vehicle is available. Our vehicles are modified to
assist people who find accessing the bus difficult.
Lunch and refreshments are also provided.
In Home Services
Our In Home Support Services assist eligible
clients with activities of daily living, based on
their assessed need.
Supports include: personal care, domestic
assistance, shopping and bill paying, social
support, home maintenance and transport within
the community.
Meals on Wheels
A fresh, nutritionally balanced meal plus dessert
is delivered to the home of eligible clients.
Meals are available Monday to Sunday. Please
contact our friendly staff for further details.
Community Aged
Care Packages
The Shire of Kalamunda can
support eligible clients with
a Community Aged Care
Package that is tailored to
meet assessed support needs.
CACPs are targeted towards
people who would otherwise
require low level residential care.
Community Visitors Scheme
The Community Visitors Scheme is a Commonwealth
Government initiative that establishes
and promotes links between people living in
residential facilities and the wider community.
Volunteering Opportunities
Volunteers are a valuable and integral part of
our services. Opportunities exist to support
clients and the community in the Day Centre,
delivering meals and within the Community
Visitors Scheme. For more information and
