The education component focused on three main areas: Community<br />

Outreach <strong>and</strong> Peer Education (COPE), <strong>STD</strong> case management,<br />

<strong>and</strong> policy <strong>and</strong> advocacy. This document describes<br />

the activities of the <strong>STD</strong> management component <strong>and</strong> is part of a series<br />

designed to highlight the best practices <strong>and</strong> lessons learned from ASEP’s<br />

experience in <strong>HIV</strong> prevention in a low-prevalence country. The series also<br />
