EPHY-MESS, located in Wiesbaden, Germany, is specialized in the
production of contact thermometry. Since 1955 high quality temperature
sensors, detectors and modules are produced for the supervision of
electric drives and machines.
EPHY-MESS products are delivered to industry, for motor pro-tection,
measuring and engineering, to energy for wind turbines, hydro and
nuclear power and to railway industries for trains, trams or cargo. Our
highly skilled sales engineers support the customer in solving temperature
measurement challenges by generating customized products in a
cost-effective and timely manner.
The product portfolio contains classic Resistance Temperature Detectors
(RTD) based on platinum and nickel measuring resistors for the thermal
supervision of bearing, slot and coil of electric machines. Thermistors,
KTY-sensors, bimetallic switches, thermocouples and flexible band heaters
are produced in numerous configurations. The majority of the detectors
are suited for the use in explosive areas (IECEx and ATEX directive,
certified by PTB or IBExU). Analogue and digital evaluation electronics
complete the product range.
