WELCOME TO STUTTGART — Stephen Bell <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Stuttgart</strong> <strong>Chamber</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Commerce</strong><br />

welcomes new resident Allisa Caruthers to <strong>Stuttgart</strong>, along with Cheryl Shook <strong>of</strong> Thompson-Trice<br />

Realty. The <strong>Stuttgart</strong> <strong>Chamber</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Commerce</strong> provides welcome baskets to new<br />

residents that includes information about the community, along with items donated by local<br />

QUEEN VISIT — Queen Mallard Leah Conrad was at the<br />

annual Fun N' Fishin' at the Riceland pond and visited with<br />

the children who were at the free fishing derby.<br />

FISHIN' CREW — Among those at Fun N' Fishin' were children Elijah Johnson, Jeremiah<br />

Johnson, Payton Johnson and Jayden Johnson and adults Jason Johnson, David Raab<br />

and Josh Johnson.<br />

616 Cafe Opens<br />

NEW RESTAURANT — The <strong>Stuttgart</strong> <strong>Chamber</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Commerce</strong> held a ribbon cutting<br />

at the 616 Cafe, a new restaurant in <strong>Stuttgart</strong> owned by Leotis Harris. The 616 Cafe is<br />

located at 616 N. Main St. The phone number is 672-7072.<br />

CHECKING THE SIZE — Heath Mitchell <strong>of</strong> Mitchell's Bait & Tackle checks the weight<br />

<strong>of</strong> a catfish during Fun N' Fishin' at the Riceland Foods pond. Prizes were given for the<br />

largest fish and smallest fish caught during the free fishing derby for children.<br />

CATCH OF THE DAY — Not all the fish caught at the Fun<br />

N' Fishin' were record breakers, but everyone had fun. The<br />

<strong>Arkansas</strong> Game & Fish Commission stocked the Riceland<br />

pond with 700 pounds <strong>of</strong> catfish for the free event.<br />

BUSINESS SHINE AWARD — Wilkerson Jewelers received the Business Shine Award<br />

sponsored by the City <strong>of</strong> <strong>Stuttgart</strong>. The award is selected by the Beautification Committee<br />

<strong>of</strong> the <strong>Stuttgart</strong> <strong>Chamber</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Commerce</strong>. Wilkerson recently added a large clock in front <strong>of</strong><br />

the store as well as two large vases.<br />

<strong>Chamber</strong> hosts Mallard Classic Golf Tournament<br />

� The <strong>Stuttgart</strong> <strong>Chamber</strong><br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>Commerce</strong> hosted the 3rd<br />

annual Mallard Classic Golf<br />

Tournament in June.<br />

The event is held to allow<br />

local business owners and<br />

executives a chance to<br />

network in a fun setting,<br />

while also raising money for<br />

the local <strong>Chamber</strong> <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>Commerce</strong>.<br />

Lunch was provided<br />

compliments <strong>of</strong> Delta<br />

Plastics <strong>of</strong> the South.<br />

and a lot <strong>of</strong> players," said<br />

Bethany Hodges, director <strong>of</strong><br />

programs for the <strong>Stuttgart</strong><br />

<strong>Chamber</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Commerce</strong>.<br />

we were able to raise money<br />

to fund many <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Chamber</strong><br />
