Fireco Telescopic Masts - Introduction
Fireco is the world leader in the development and manufacture of light
weight aluminium telescopic masts. Their masts are being used world-wide
on fire appliances, police vehicles, military units and surveillance vehicles.
Fireco masts are suitable for a wide range of applications from simple scene
lighting to CCTV, communications, meteorology and photographic use.
The range is vast with a limitless combination of mast height, mounting
methods, extension options and vehicle mounting solutions. Mast diameters
range from 64mm to 152mm with between three and 12 sections. Mast
height between 2 and 40 metres are available. There is a broad range of
masthead capacities with some models able to support up to 180kg.

Are constructed of 3.5mm anodised aluminium - even resistant to sea fog
Can withstand temperatures between -25 to +60°C.
Feature keyways to prevent unwanted rotation in use

Zero Range
Mast Diameter: 64mm
Mast Height: 1.85m - 5.65m

The Zero Range is the ideal product for those looking for an
economical telescopic mast. Suitable for mounting on
lightweight vehicles and trailers it is also suitable for carrying
floodlights or antennas.
The Zero Range offers many of the features of other Fireco masts such as internal cables and antirotation
keyways, it also has a manual 360° turntable base. The Zero mast offers many lighting
combinations on all voltages - 12/24Vdc and 110/230V ac.
Primo / Super Primo / Maxi Primo Range
Mast Diameter: 66mm / 80mm / 101mm
Mast Height: 3-9m / 5-15m / 5-20m
Max masthead load: 15kg
Mast Sections: 4-6 / 4-8 / 7-11
The versatile Primo Masts Range is suitable for either vehicle mounted
applications or can be used mounted on tripods. Extension is either
by manual pump or by compressed air from the on-board system.
All models feature the Fireco Twin-Lock system which prevents
unwanted rotation and allows for lengthy deployment without a
continuous pneumatic supply.

Light Range
Mast Diameter: 90mm
Mast Height: 2.7m - 8.0m
Max masthead load: 30kg

These lightweight masts are suitable for up to two 1500W floodlights
and can be extended to 8 metres.
As with all Fireco masts, the spiral cables are hidden away inside the
tubing to prevent damage and to reduce maintenance costs.
Suitable for medium to heavyweight vehicles, lightweight tower lights
and various floodlight systems, this range has excellent wind resistance.
Standard 115mm Range
Mast Diameter: 115mm
Mast Height: 2.9m - 11.1m
Max masthead load: 60kg
Mast Sections: 4-7
The Standard Range is the most commonly supplied Fireco product. It is
known for extreme resilience and high load capacity.
The versatility of the Standard Range means that many different types of
vehicles, containers, tower lights and meteorology tools are equipped
with this Fireco mast.
Air pressure would normally be fed from the vehicle's brake system to
extend these masts. A remote control can be used to control pan/tilt,
extension and retraction and lighting.
This range can mount the tilt and tilt & turn systems and has scope for a
360° rotation powered by 12/24V motor.
Heavy / Super Heavy Mast Range
Mast Diameter: 152mm / 200mm
Mast Height:
6.46m - 15m / 6.5m - 40m
Max masthead load: 150kg / 180kg
Mast Sections: 5-9
Surprisingly compact when retracted, these masts are ideal for use
in vehicles that require high masts but are limited for space.
Able to utilise the tilt and turn systems, they can be supplied with a
wide range of spiralled cables (up to 22m) and the 360° electric
rotation system.

Manual Roof-Mounted Masts

These manual folding masts are the idea
multi-purpose roof mast for any type of vehicle.
Quickly and easily fitted, once retracted is
automatically secured and can be extended
manually to any height.
These masts feature the Fireco internal cable system.
These masts are the ideal upgrade to existing
or refurbished vehicles.
Electric Roof-Mounted Range
Mast Diameter: 64mm / 77mm / 90mm / 115mm
Mast Height: 1.7m - 4.47m
Max masthead load: 30kg
Mast Sections: 2-4
These pneumatic roof-mounted masts feature the Fireco tilt and
turn system and an integrated air compressor (64 - 77mm
models). A wired remote or radio control is used for extending
and retracting the mast, switching lights, and automatic
retraction.
These masts have a neat safety feature an emergency stop
switch which allows the extension of the mast to be interrupted.
Remote Control
Most powered masts can be supplied with remote
controls - either hard-wired or radio controlled.
