ABC POWDER FIRE EXTINGUISHER

CONSTRUCTION
BODY • Single piece, deep drawn aluminium
body, externally painted with polyester resin.
VALVE • Valve body in Delrin polyacetalic
resin. All external valve parts are in plastic
material for maximum corrosion resistance.
Single action operation : displacement of
safety clip causes piercing of internal
cartridge, enabling extinguisher operation.
CARTRIDGE • Disposable CO 2 cartridge, deep
drawn without welds, externally protected by
zinc coating and passivation.
Cartridge is housed in the dip tube.
EXTINGUISHING AGENT • ABC multipurpose
dry powder.
All parts in contact with the extinguishing
agent are compatible with the same.
BRACKET • Plastic bracket specially
designed for vehicle and marine use, with
luminescent strip for an easy location in the
dark.
PACKING • Shrink-wrapping of the single
piece and 6 pieces cardboard box.
REFILL KIT • A complete set of refilling
parts is available, including special tools.
PG1-KA ABC is an internal cartridge, dry powder fire
extinguisher specially designed for car and marine use.
Certified according to the Pressure Equipment Directive PED
97/23/EC, Marine Equipment Directive MED 96/98/EC and
CEN EN3. Capacity is 1 kg.
USE
Suitable for all fires except metal fires.

A complete set of refilling parts is available, including

The bracket made of polypropylene and polyethylene
ensures assembly on any surface thanks to different
fastening points available at the back.

The luminous safety strip ensures a better identification
at night, fastens the fire extinguisher to the support,
making it perfectly stable, also in case of violent impacts
or jerks.

➀ The indestructible Valve is made of polyacetal resin to ensure
perfect protection against corrosion. - ➁ The spindle
acetal resin allows a better sealing. - ➂ The safety pin, of large
diameter, ensures a fast hold also when the operator is wearing
work gloves. - ➃ The Spring made of steel is protected
against the internal corrosion. - ➄ Disposable CO2 cartridge is
housed in the dip tube. - ➅ The single piece, deep drawn aluminium
body ensures maximum sealing and is very light and
malleable as well.
